Cristiano Ronaldo has quickly become a YouTube star, amassing over 24 million subscribers just one day after launching his “UR Cristiano” channel. The Portuguese soccer legend, who plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr, posted his first videos on Wednesday, sharing glimpses of his life, family, and lifestyle.

Ronaldo celebrated his rapid growth with a video on Instagram, showcasing a golden YouTube plaque awarded for reaching Creator Award milestones. Since joining YouTube on July 8, Ronaldo has uploaded 19 videos, including Reels and traditional content.

With massive followings on other social media platforms — 636 million on Instagram, 170 million on Facebook, and 112.6 million on X — Ronaldo’s move to YouTube adds another dimension to his global influence. YouTube Europe VP Pedro Pina congratulated Ronaldo, calling the channel’s success “pure gold” and an “epic adventure.”

While other athletes like Stephen Curry and Cam Newton have also found success on YouTube, Ronaldo’s subscriber count far surpasses theirs, though it still trails behind top creator MrBeast, who has 311 million subscribers.
