The Buffalo Bills have traded for wide receiver Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a third-round pick, the teams confirmed Tuesday. Along with Cooper, the Bills will receive a sixth-round pick in 2025, while the Browns get a seventh-round pick in 2026.

Cooper, a five-time Pro Bowl receiver, has 24 catches for 250 yards and two touchdowns in six games this season, though his 10.4 yards per catch is a career low. Buffalo, currently 4-2 and leading the AFC East, aims to bolster its passing game, which has dipped since last season, especially after trading Stefon Diggs. Despite solid performances from their receiving corps, no Bills player is on track to reach 1,000 yards this season.

Cleveland, now 1-5, is struggling, with quarterback Deshaun Watson ranked last in QB rating. Cooper, 30, set a career high with 1,250 receiving yards last season and has accumulated 9,736 yards and 62 touchdowns over his career. He was originally drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 2015 and later traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2018.

The Bills, fresh off a win over the Jets, face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
