The NFL on CBS is undergoing some changes for the 2025 season, and one notable name won’t be returning. Former New York Giants running back and three-time Pro Bowler Tiki Barber has been dropped from the network’s broadcast roster, ending his run as a game analyst that began in 2019.

CBS Shuffles Its Broadcast Lineup

CBS released its game announcer lineup for the 2025 NFL season last week. Familiar figures like Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Ian Eagle are all returning, but Barber’s name was notably missing. In his place, Charles Davis has joined the team working alongside Andrew Catalon, Jason McCourty, and AJ Ross.

The updated broadcast teams now look like this:

  • Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson
  • Ian Eagle, J.J. Watt, and Evan Washburn
  • Kevin Harlan, Trent Green, and Melanie Collins
  • Andrew Catalon, Charles Davis, Jason McCourty, and AJ Ross
  • Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta, and Aditi Kinkhabwala

Barber Moves to Giants Gameday Radio

Tiki Barber CBS Set
Tiki Barber has been a part of the CBS crew since 2019.

Although CBS removed him from national broadcasts, Barber isn’t stepping away from football. He’ll partner with John Schmeelk on the Giants’ gameday radio broadcasts through WFAN. In his statement, Barber shared his enthusiasm about the new role, highlighting the Giants’ broadcasting legacy and his excitement to connect with fans through detailed analysis and insight.

Staying Active on New York Airwaves

In addition to his gameday duties, Barber will continue co-hosting Evan & Tiki on WFAN every weekday. While he may no longer be part of CBS’s national NFL coverage, his voice remains active in New York’s sports media, where he’s built a strong and consistent presence.
