Anime’s growing impact in entertainment has caught the eye of celebrities, and Dylan Sprouse, a longtime fan, is joining in on the trend. Recently, Sprouse and his wife, Barbara Palvin, surprised fans with a Spy x Family cosplay for Halloween, perfectly embodying the beloved Forger family. On Instagram, the couple shared their costumes with fans, with Palvin portraying Yor’s alter-ego, the Thorn Princess, and Sprouse taking on the role of the suave spy, Loid.

In addition to Spy x Family, Sprouse and Palvin impressed fans by also dressing as characters from Studio Ghibli this Halloween. Sprouse’s love for anime-themed costumes dates back years; in 2018, he dressed as Future Trunks from Dragon Ball while Palvin sported her own look from Naruto.

The couple’s dedication to anime cosplay isn’t unique in Hollywood. This Halloween, Victor Wembanyama dressed as No-Face from Spirited Away, and Megan Thee Stallion paid tribute to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure by transforming into a Joestar, complete with her Stand named “Hot Girl.” Known for her love of anime, Megan has previously cosplayed characters from My Hero Academia and Sailor Moon, making her another star in the growing anime-inspired Halloween trend.
