The 3-year-old son of social media influencer Emilie Kiser has died after a tragic drowning accident in Arizona. Trigg Kiser passed away on Sunday following nearly a week in critical condition, according to the Chandler Police Department.

The drowning occurred on May 12 at a home in Chandler, roughly 20 miles southeast of Phoenix. Responding to an emergency call, police officers found the young boy unconscious and being pulled from a backyard pool, KPNX reported.

Officers were the first to arrive and immediately began CPR before Chandler Fire Department personnel took over. Trigg was then transported to Chandler Regional Hospital, where he remained in critical condition for six days.

On Sunday, Chandler Police spokesperson Sonu Wasu confirmed Trigg’s death in a statement, expressing, “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time.”

Emilie Kiser, 26, has built a large online following — nearly 3.4 million on TikTok — sharing family-centered content that highlights her life as a mom and wife. She and her husband, Brady Kiser, welcomed their second son, Theodore, in March.

Trigg, their eldest, would have turned four on July 14.

In the wake of the tragedy, supporters and followers have flooded Emilie’s recent Instagram posts with messages of sympathy and comfort. As of now, she has not released a public statement regarding her son’s passing.

Police emphasized that the investigation into the incident remains active. “This is still an open investigation. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed,” Wasu noted.

Trigg’s death comes during National Water Safety Month, a time dedicated to promoting drowning prevention and raising awareness of water safety. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, drowning remains the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 1 and 4.
