A hair and makeup artist, identified as “Jane Roe,” has filed a lawsuit against Garth Brooks, accusing the country star of sexual assault and battery. The suit alleges that over several years, Brooks forced Roe to engage in sexual acts, exposed himself, and sent explicit messages while she worked for him. Roe claims Brooks attempted to cover up the harassment by deleting messages from her phone.

Brooks has denied the accusations, stating that Roe’s claims are part of an extortion attempt. In a separate preemptive complaint filed in Mississippi, Brooks, under the name “John Doe,” accused Roe of fabricating allegations to extort money and damage his reputation. Brooks responded to the lawsuit by asserting his innocence, stating, “I trust the system, I do not fear the truth.”

Both Roe and Brooks are seeking damages and a jury trial in their respective lawsuits. Roe’s legal team expressed confidence in holding Brooks accountable, while Brooks maintains the accusations are untrue.
