Convicted former Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein is in Bellevue Hospital Prison Ward for a “myriad of health conditions,” including Covid-19 and double pneumonia, a representative said.

Weinstein, 72, was taken to Bellevue for treatment, his representative and prison consultant Craig Rothfeld confirmed. New York Corrections Department records also confirm his hospitalization.

Harvey Weinstein was transferred to Bellevue Hospital in New York City.

Weinstein is being treated for conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, spinal stenosis, and fluid on his heart and lungs, Rothfeld detailed. “In addition, Mr. Weinstein tested positive for COVID and contracted double pneumonia in his lungs,” he added.

Weinstein was convicted in New York and Los Angeles for sex offenses. In the Los Angeles case, he was sentenced to 16 years. In New York, he was sentenced to 23 years, but that 2020 rape conviction was overturned in April due to a state appellate court ruling on judge errors.
