Social media influencer and drag-racing enthusiast Andre Beadle, 25, from the Bronx, died early Wednesday in a high-speed crash on the Nassau Expressway in Queens, according to the NYPD. Beadle, who was driving a 2023 BMW, reportedly lost control of the vehicle, striking a metal pole on the right shoulder before veering across the roadway, leading to his ejection from the car. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Beadle was well-known for his drag-racing content, amassing 246,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 60,000 on YouTube, where he often showcased BMW speed tests, including reaching 130 mph in just over three seconds in one recent post. Although it’s not confirmed whether the vehicle in his posts was the one involved in the crash, videos on his channel frequently feature high-speed driving and stunts.

After his death, fans and critics alike posted tributes and comments. Some praised his impact on the drag-racing community, calling him a “legend,” while others criticized his disregard for safety. The investigation is ongoing.
