Joe Rogan is no longer just a leader in one platform — he is a dominant force in multiple platforms. He has been leading the way in Spotify’s charts for many years, and he has now taken over the #1 position in the US on Apple Podcasts for 2025, according to Apple’s year-end charts, detailing the most popular shows and trends of the year in the U.S. and globally. The full rankings are available from Apple Podcasts’ Top Charts of 2025, showing that Rogan surpassed a large group of news, true crime and self-help shows to take the #1 spot.

For 2024, Rogan was ranked #3 on Apple’s list after The Daily and Crime Junkie. For 2025, he moved The Daily to the #2 spot, and still had one of his largest shows “#2223 – Elon Musk,” rank in the top 10 most listened to shows of the year. The Daily also continued to have a significant presence due to another of their large shows, “Trump, Again,” being one of the top shows of the year, demonstrating that politics will continue to be a driving force for audio consumption for news programs regardless of the growing popularity of personality-based podcasts.
