Justin Bieber opened up to his fans in a candid and emotional Instagram post, published just a day after Father’s Day, admitting he’s been battling “anger issues” and the feeling of being “broken.”

The 31-year-old artist shared the message on June 16, saying he’s spent much of his life attempting to meet others’ expectations of what healing and “fixing” oneself should look like. “People keep telling me to heal,” Bieber wrote. “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?”

He didn’t shy away from naming the internal struggle. “I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues,” he admitted. “I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and angry.”

Reflecting on self-growth, Bieber said that focusing inward has only deepened his exhaustion. “Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others,” he explained. “Because honestly I’m exhausted with learning about myself lately aren’t you?”

His caption included a middle finger emoji—something he repeated across the bulk of the 18 Instagram posts he uploaded on June 15. Several of those posts were more intimate glimpses into his life at home, featuring his newborn son Jack and wife Hailey Bieber. In one shot, the couple is seen playing piano together. Another shows a bracelet on Jack’s tiny wrist.

Elsewhere, Bieber posted more abstract and personal images—his feet as he lay sprawled out on the floor, and extreme close-ups of his own face. One particular post marked his first Father’s Day and featured the caption: “I’m a dad that’s not to be f—– with.”

Justin and Hailey officially announced the birth of their son in August, following their pregnancy news back in May 2024. In a joyful post shared on August 23, Justin wrote, “WELCOME HOME… JACK BLUES BIEBER.”

Since then, the pop star has occasionally documented moments from his new life as a parent. In January, he uploaded a carousel of snowy photos featuring him and Hailey enjoying the outdoors. One image shows him carrying baby Jack against his chest in a harness, his son’s tiny head just peeking out the back.
