Kanye West is facing renewed outrage after posting a disturbing confession on X (formerly Twitter), claiming he engaged in sexual behavior with his male cousin during their childhood. In the now-deleted post, West wrote, “Perhaps in my self-centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.”

The post coincided with the release of his new track Cousins, which opens with the line, “Hanging out with my cousin readin’ dirty magazines.” West said the song was inspired by the same cousin, who is now serving a life sentence for murdering a pregnant woman. He linked the violent crime to their past, writing, “A few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore, he killed someone.”

In the post, West also described discovering adult magazines in his parents’ home and included an explicit line: “My name is Ye and I sucked my cousin’s d— till I was 14.”

This confession comes amid a string of erratic behavior, including a sexual misconduct lawsuit from a model who worked on a 2010 music video and several controversial social media outbursts. West’s X account was suspended in February following a series of antisemitic and offensive posts but has since been restored.
