Snoop Dogg has announced his upcoming album Missionary, set for release on Dec. 13, featuring a star-studded list of collaborators and marking his first full-length project with Dr. Dre since his debut Doggystyle. The album kicks off with the single “Gorgeous,” featuring Jhené Aiko, who joins Snoop on an upbeat track produced by Dr. Dre, Blu2th, Preach Bal4, and FredWreck. Aiko’s chorus captures a dreamy mood, singing, “Under the skies, stars in your eyes/ This is euphoric/ We can be anything, this is everything/ We do the wildest things ’til six in the mornin’.”

Snoop’s announcement came with a playful trailer showing two “missionaries” knocking at a woman’s door, where she greets them with a comical misunderstanding. Missionary promises a powerful lineup of tracks, including Tom Petty and Jelly Roll on “Last Dance With Mary Jane,” 50 Cent and Eminem on “Gunz N Smoke,” Method Man and Smitty on “Skyscrapers,” Dr. Dre and BJ the Chicago Kid on “Now or Never,” and Dem Jointz, Stalone, and Fat Money on “Gangsta Pose.” Sting, K.A.A.N., Alus, and Cocoa Sarai also appear, adding layers to an already dynamic list of artists.

The album represents a continuation of Snoop’s longtime partnership with Dr. Dre and brings together some of hip-hop’s biggest names, offering fans a fresh blend of legendary talent and rising stars.
