Taylor Swift has once again secured the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s annual top global artists list, marking her second consecutive year at the top. The streaming platform revealed that Swift accumulated over 26.6 billion streams in 2024, making her the most-streamed artist globally. Her album, “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology”, released in April, dominated as Spotify’s most-streamed album this year, while “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” and “Lover” also landed in the top ten.

To celebrate Swift’s achievement, Spotify released in-app Easter eggs for fans, including custom animations inspired by her blockbuster Eras Tour and a Wrapped badge on her profile. Dedicated fans ranked among her top listeners even received a personalized video message from Swift thanking them for their support throughout her record-breaking year.

The announcement coincides with the conclusion of Swift’s Eras Tour, which wraps up with three final performances in Vancouver this weekend. The tour has been a celebration of her career, spanning hits from all her albums.

Other artists rounding out Spotify’s top five most-streamed global artists include The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, and Billie Eilish. Spotify users worldwide also joined in celebrating the release of Spotify Wrapped 2024, showcasing the year’s top musical moments.
