A woman identified as a Russian passenger was removed from a flight bound for New York after causing a disturbance. Video footage shows the woman yelling phrases like “Please help here!” and “The United States broke my heart” before being escorted off the plane by French police and an interpreter. The flight from Paris to New York was delayed by up to three hours due to the incident.

The woman initially boarded a Delta flight from JFK to Charles de Gaulle Airport on Nov. 26 without a boarding pass or valid travel documents. Despite bypassing security checkpoints, she completed a full screening and did not pose a safety threat. Denied entry into France due to her lack of a visa, she was placed in French custody upon her arrival.

The TSA stated it will open a civil case against the woman for violating regulations and plans to meet her upon her return to the U.S. at JFK Airport.
