Hudson Meek, the 16-year-old actor recognized for his role as “Young Baby” in Baby Driver, tragically died after falling from a moving vehicle in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. The Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed he suffered blunt force injuries on December 19 and passed away four days later at UAB Hospital.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident, which took place on Canyon Road in the Birmingham suburb. Meek’s family shared the devastating news on his Instagram account, announcing plans for a celebration of life and the creation of a scholarship fund at Vestavia Hills High School, where he was a sophomore.

Described as “one of AOA’s first and brightest stars” by Acting Out! Academy, Meek was praised for his talent and dedication. In addition to his standout role in Baby Driver, he appeared in NBC’s Found, National Geographic’s Genius, and the award-winning film Providence. His family noted that Meek was an organ donor, ensuring his legacy of compassion and impact continues.
