Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis was sidelined during Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins due to an apparent throwing shoulder injury. Levis was hurt while diving for yardage during the Titans’ second drive and was seen grimacing as he threw on the sidelines. By the third drive, backup quarterback Mason Rudolph had taken over. Levis had completed three of four passes with an interception before the injury.

With Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa out due to a head injury, the game became a battle of backups, as Tyler Huntley started for Miami. Huntley committed a turnover, leading to a fumble recovered by the Titans. Titans coach Brian Callahan did not confirm if Levis would return, stating “we’ll see” based on his physical readiness. By the third quarter, Levis remained on the sidelines with his helmet on, but Callahan stuck with Rudolph, who led the team to a 16-6 lead.
