The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office identified Venable as the suspect, wanted on three counts of second-degree murder and a firearms charge. New York State Police arrested Venable on Interstate 86 after a high-speed chase, which ended when troopers used a tire deflation device, causing her car to crash. Venable was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is now detained at the Steuben County jail, awaiting extradition.

The investigation remains active, and authorities have not commented on a potential motive.
