Las Vegas, NV – June 22, 2025 — In a landmark moment for basketball and cultural representation, Gary Chivichyan has officially signed with the Milwaukee Bucks for the 2025 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

This signing marks a historic first: Chivichyan becomes the first player of full Armenian descent to earn a roster spot with an NBA franchise and compete under contract in Summer League action.

The deal is the culmination of a calculated and persistent effort led by his longtime agent, Ara Vartanian, whose strategic guidance has been instrumental throughout Chivichyan’s professional journey. For both player and agent, this milestone represents a career-defining breakthrough. For Armenians and minority communities around the world, it stands as a powerful symbol of representation, resilience, and possibility.
